Excuse my absence friends. I’ve been a little busy up here and I think my messages may be delayed due to some sort of time/space continuum. As I described in my post about Kelly Ripa (such a sweet, dog-like human!), I’ve been making my presence known to mama. And she’s picking up on my cues!
Last week was the one month anniversary of my transition and I pushed mama in a direction that will change her life. She felt me around her that entire day, even poking her head of the shower from time to time expecting to see my on the bathmat. (I always lounged on that mat while mama showered, just to keep her company, and I still am.)
Just as mama was compelled to watch that recorded episode of Live with Kelly (compelled is an earthly term — she receiving heaven-sent nudges from me), she felt the need to reach out to my breeder in Canada and inquire about upcoming litters. Mama was only interested in a solid red male puppy (like moi! — good choice) and fully expected to wait awhile.
As the universe conspired to heal mama’s heart (with a little help from me), a solid red puppy was available. Not in Canada, but in Northern California only 30 minutes from home! It helps to have angels in your corner to achieve the impossible!
Needless to say, within days a new little pup was added to my family and named Timmy Elijah Love. A

strong and meaningful name in my book. Timmy is not a replacement for me — clearly I’m irreplaceable! — but he is helping to heal mama’s heart and provide the physical puppy love that mama craves.
The story behind the naming of this youngster will bring chills and goosebumps… it’s that poignant and amazing! And I will save that story for my next post, so stayed tuned.
I know that mama misses her snuggles with me and my physical presence, but I am always with her and she feels me every moment now. Grief and loss are not simple emotions to navigate, but with the knowledge that all souls are eternal, healing and growth will appear.

. I know that you are with your sweet mama all the time, just as my Haighti is watching over us. I hope you and Haighti have found each other and that you keep each other company <3. Love you Atti…now go play ballie with our girl! Yayyyyy!!!
Yeah! You now sense and feel Atticus is with you and still giving you directions. I’m so happy for you. Timmy looks very cute and will be quite handsome!

You must be one busy heavenly pup, Atticus Finch Alberti! I feel your presence every day now too. I kick myself for not having downloaded more pictures of you so that I can laugh at your funny get-ups! Maybe you could ask your mama to send me a few. I’m not very good with computers but I am constantly learning.
Charlie has been channeling you a lot since you made the big move and became an angel. He insists on wearing his blue sweater (not the red one, just the blue) and he even let me put a hat on him for a couple minutes. He wants to be like you but I keep telling him we don’t expect THAT much of him.
Jon, Roxy, Charlie, and I are so happy that you helped your mama find another pup to love. We can never have too many loves in our lives, as you well know. The love you share with all of us FOA’s continues to help our love to expand. We can’t wait for you and Timmy to make your grand entrance at Robin’s Hope. Sharing this post with some of the most wonderful animal lovers ever would be a great start! (hint hint).

Just like children, our pets are all individuals and can never be replaced. Timmy will never take your place in your mama’s heart ~ her heart is big enough far all of you! I’m glad that you were able to bring them together, it’s nice to see that smile on her face again
I so love hearing from you, Atticus, and thinking that you are a furry angel looking out over us feels so nice and safe and secure! Lynn, I made a special effort to find and friend Coretta. it was actually easy finding her — we have a special dog-dancing section of heaven and she was there, of course. may you have peace knowing that Coretta is happy and healthy again. and is always watching over you.

We do miss you, Atticus! And you are such a tease–I want to know about the names, and sooner rather than later! You are showing your deep soul by letting us know that you are happy for your Mama to have a new little pup (I confess I might feel a tad jealous). I did think he looked like you!!
